RYT500!

Last month I quietly hit a major benchmark in my yoga journey: I completed my RYT500 training! Like RYT200, the additional 300 hours of training to reach RYT500 status came with moments of enlightenment and acceptance, experiences that built my confidence as a teacher, challenges that pushed me to prove my dedication, and a motivational boost for the next stages to come.

Highlights along my RYT500 journey included establishing this website and beginning a yoga resource library, teaching at the Big Bear Yoga Festival, meeting the guru of Cloud Nine Yoga in Hawaii, developing online yoga classes for kids, breaking out of my comfort zone and teaching at a high-energy gym setting, exploring yoga literature, and accepting an invitation to become a core teacher for upcoming festivals with Big Bear Yoga. It's been an amazing journey!

As 2024 gets going, I'm excited to see where this next step in my yoga teaching journey takes me. I'm now on my way to the next teaching certification level - ERYT! This next step requires a lot of teaching hours, and I'm grateful for every opportunity to teach this year. I'm kicking off with a six-week sun salutation workshop for teens this month and continue offering a gentle morning stretch online every Monday, Wednesday and Friday here at YogaPrayer365.com. I hope to see you on the mat in 2024!
